Facing Death with Hope
As we face the prospect of our own death, the faith we have in our Savior Jesus Christ becomes our source of hope and assurance. Yet, for our loved ones, our death can be a time of deep stress. While dealing with their personal pain of loss, they will have decisions to make and demands placed upon them that can leave them feeling anxious and confused.
Saint Barnabas’s in Falmouth has presented a new 5-week series, Facing Death with Hope which offered practical steps that we can take to prepare ourselves and our loved ones for this eventuality. By planning ahead, we can provide them with those things they will need to make the decisions they have to make. By doing so, we are offering them a parting gift of love that can bring consolation amid the pain and grief of loss. Indeed, “Death with Hope!”
