Lights of Joy

Picture
The campus will be lit from Advent through to Lent

A spectacle of lights will once again illuminate the elaborately decorated Christmas landscape Saint Barnabas’s. “It is a way to help brighten the lives of Falmouth residents and holiday visitors,” said The Rev. W. (Will) Mebane, Jr., rector of Saint Barnabas’s Memorial Episcopal Church. “Our ‘Lights of Advent’ brought so much joy to the community that we decided to bring ‘Lights of Joy’ this year.” This is the second year for the display of lights on the campus of Saint Barnabas’s.

The lights will complement festive ornaments and greenery accenting the church windows, Memorial Garden, Parish House, labyrinth, trees, paths and lawns.  A community Christmas tree will be featured highlighting the organizations that the Saint Barnabas’s parish supports. Visitors will receive messages of joy, hope and love as they walk through the campus.
