The Banner
The Banner is a quarterly publication of inspiring and thought-provoking spiritual essays and features by parishioners and the clergy. It also contains articles inviting readers to become more involved in parish life—to attend upcoming activities, learn about new members and discover what’s happening in the lives of fellow parishioners.
The Banner offers members of the congregation—young and old—a sense of connection with one another. They are able to read what it means to a young mother when her children are baptized. And they learn about the juggling act necessary to be a working mother and an active member of the church. Pieces like these create an intimacy among parishioners; a sense that we are all the same—that we all struggle, cry, laugh and love. Understanding this allows us to more easily reach out to one another.
